About to fit a water pump...But.....

Postby TIDY » Thu Jul 02, 2015 8:12 pm

Hi Guys my Transit has a squeeling pulley since i bought it about 2 months ago, Ive changed the Tensioner and also the idler but it still squeels.
Ive bought a water pump to fit but im wondering what the pulley on top of the water pump is as i may as well change both.

Hopefully this will stop the pulley squeel and also the weird over heating i get when i drive up a hill or long gradient ?????

The belt was apparently new when i bought it, There was an old one chucked in the back of the van so i have no reason to doubt this.

The pulley above the water pump is the vacuum pump and i don't think you can replace just the pulley, search vacuum pump
