Postby schott999 » Sat Aug 01, 2015 7:50 am

I've an audio problem question,
on my cd 6000 player that came with my mk6 hi top I've noticed that if i play shop bought cds they play fine but if i play home made cds they jump and stop and go back to the radio,is this a common fault and also is there a better quality player available that will fit in the dashboard, many thanks schott999

Apparently, some of these players don't like the MP3 file format of home recorded CD's, but funnily enough, the one in my Mk5 plays them OK :?

Not at the moment, I haven't used the Mk5 for 3 years  :P

The player in the Mk6 plays them OK as well, but that's not a CD6000

hi lads,a bit more advice please
i bought different brand cdrs and the problem was just the same so i bought double din to single din fascia and fitted a single din goodman cd player.it came with wiring adaptors and a aerial adaptor which all fitted perfect.after all connections were made the cd player burst into life and after 30 seconds died and as not worked since.the wiring adaptors can only fit one way so its not that and also the cd player will accept and eject cds even though theres no lights or power, any help please.
