Exhaust manifold Ford Autosleeper Frisly

I have a lovely van 1989 only about 60 000 miles on clock ... has been running sweetly ... hardly any rust but the exhaust manifold is leaking n fumes coming into van ..... it is booked into garage for next weds ... to await the results .... I tried to rong Ford Transit parts UK to see if they had a part but apparently not but could import one for hundreds if we knew part number which is unlikely! ... eeeek .... I had been pondering on whether to keep van until old age or buy a newer one but now in a fix .... anyone got any thoughts on manifold ..... trying to keep an old van on .... how to sell ... valuing etc

Is the manifold cracked or broken or is it just a gasket leaking??

Surely you could pick up a second hand manifold from a breakers if need be.
