Leak-off Test Kit

Postby tansam » Tue Dec 01, 2015 9:50 am

I have recently bought a leak off test kit,as well as 6 jars and pipes that connect to the injectors there is also 6 solid (non flexi)pipes about 5 inch long that can also be connected. (The pipes also are marked to indicate quantity )
My question is how do I use them .? :?

The rigid pipes probably sit upright on top of the injector leak points and just fill up vertically, probably fine for mk7 denso as the leak points are right on top :-).

As long as they read minimum of 60ml accurately then they won't overfill, you'll need a breathe hole in them but I'm guessing they don't have a top on them? Not sure if there's enough clearance on rwd either tho :?

The above Is a bit if an educated guess but any other arrangement seems pointless to me

Suppose it makes sense. I wonder if you would have to stop it starting somehow in order to carry out a cranking test .
