No they are not the same. You required a cluster from another 2006-2009 Connect & it will require reprogramming to vehicle.

Once herehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-TRANSIT- ... SwBLlVQgbY

Cluster from a earlier 2003-2006 Connects won't work in models from 2006-2009.
Due to change in wiring, PAT's (immobiliser) & communication protocols from PCM (engine ECU) :!:

Thanks Paul for the info.

Excuse my non-understanding of things!

If, for example, I was to buy something like that from Ebay, where would I have to take it for recoding? Would the garage who can install it for me, be able to recode it, or would I have to take it to a specialised mechanic?

Thanks again!

Providing garage has suitable device/equipement to program them. Thes yes they should be able to do it.

Or find a member on here who has Ford IDS & are local to you. Who can do it for you

What is the problem with you original cluster :?:

Theres nothing wrong with it at all, but its in KPH , and I have been told that I will need it in MPH, to re-register it in the UK. But then again, a few people have mentioned that a Sticker/Transfer is suitable. Not sure how true this is. Im looking in to it.
The UK versions have both Mph and Kph, but the European version only has Kph.

Where is the best place to search for a Member with Ford IDS?

Thanks again!
