Indicator Stalk Mk5

Postby vana mana » Tue Aug 09, 2016 4:17 pm

Before I go on the hunt for a good secondhand one that works ?
Are all Transit Mk5 indicator stalks the same as far as wiring and wiring block connectors go ?

Or are there different types ?

Thanks in advance

Pretty sure they are all the same, i have put second hand one's on mine & even a new one but they still refuse to self cancel.

Lack of self cancel is down to the cam insert on the steering column misaligned/broken/missing.

I've changed two of them as well Jim, i just live with it now & seem to be on autopilot to cancel.

After driving my Mk5 for years without self cancel it still drives me nuts having it on the Mk6 after a year, seems to cancel at just the wrong moment ....
