dpf problems!!

This is my first post on this site.i have a 62 plate transit,took the dpf off 2 months ago cleaned and refitted,took it to the garage and he regenerated.now both eml lights are on and its in limp mode again.is it possible to regen in limp mode?? any help would be useful.

With the correct diagnostic gear you can perform a static regen,


I'd check the wiring the the dpf sensors for damage.

hi, thanks.is it possible to regen without taking it to the garage,or any way of getting it out of limp mode? just have a basic reader. will a run up the motorway do it?

£20 says that either needs a new wiring loom to the exhaust sensor, or a new vapouriser

I'm in the US just now with my LWB (UK) Mk7 Transit. I've got dashboard indicators on, and the van's error codes have put it in limp mode with DPF blockage. The garage here is nervous about running the regen due to the exhaust exit position, which is midway down the length of the van on mine (The US doesn't have this model). Does anyone know whether I need to duct this off to one side or put the van on ramps to prevent any issues with the exhaust temperatures at that location under the van, while we run the regen?
