I recently bought my mk7 with 32,000 miles good solid clean van, however I found out that the rear near side caliper was sticking so this weekend we replaced the offending caliper and fitted new motorcraft pads all round.
We bled the system using the two man method one pumps the brake other goes round the brake nipples.
However I've now found that the brake peddle is soft as a sponge
Where have we gone wrong ?
I read online that due to the abs, the system really needs bled through pressure ?
Any help or advice welcomed.
