converting mk6 transit to 2.5di

Hi I am converting my transit mk6 to 2.5di
I have so far put the engine and the gear box, prop shaft is in, gear box is mounted, gear stick is in, exhaust pipe is worrying as is very close to fuel tank, I think I will get away with asbestos matting, any help or information on wiring would be very helpful, as I said before I have electronic speedo on the gear box, power steering does not look a problem , just going to make up new pipes the same with the radiator and the heater but struggling with the wiring any advise would be very welcome thank you

UPDATE
Now up and running will post some pictures soon.
Will then strip it down and copy all the parts to sell as a conversation kit.
And will be putting all the old parts from the mk 6 on ebay.

Intersting thread be good to see a quality conversion done as some have attemted in the past from what I read with poor results. Keep up the good work.

use a mk5 cable speedo gearbox and a mk5 cable speedo head

Transit passed MOT, I have video and pictures which I will share on here just having problems how to post from my phone to computer!!!!
More mechanical minded than computers!
Sunday I was playing around with it finishing off the last touches for the MOT someone offered me £3,000 for it, I was very close to taking everything off and sell the truck but I could not let it go.
