key fobs not working 2012 fwd trend t280

Can any one please help both key fobs stopped working on the same day, had them both checked they are still programed to van ,have had one fitted with new battery and tested ,but still no go ,is there a receiver inside that might have gone .the van is mwb fwd 2.2 2012 model trend t280 many thanks Roy

If you have 2 batteries under drivers seat check the front one ,can cause all sorts of problems if its going flat. :roll: or buggered :D

Have you checked the fuses?

My Cree led marker lights interfere with the rcl when on, could it be any kind of interference from anything?

can you point me in the right direction .I have looked in all the main fuse holders but not found any blown

Problem fixed thanks for all your help . removed fuse no74 not blown , but when I replaced it every thing reset all working many thanks again Roy

That would make sense, the fuse for "Remote Keyless Entry" :wink:

I looked at that fuse on the diagram and decided that this van doesn't have this feature (thinking of the Focus, Kuga, etc, where the fob just needs to be in your pocket) but of course, it is a remote, and is keyless to open the door :!: :oops: :P :roll:
