Not sure but on the mk1&2 &3 you did not torque the nut up the preload was set by a collapsible sleeve and was set by a set turning force put on the flange for it to turn.this could be done with fishing type weighing scales and pulling the flange till it turned with right poundage this was done without the diff seal fitted.then you mark the nut @ shaft with a pop mark remove nut & flange fit the seal pup flange back on & tighten nut up until pop marks line up .
This is done before the crownwheel is fitted also donot over tighten the nut setting it as the sleeve once crushed stays crushed.
The only diffs I have done that had a set torque setting for the nut had shims to set the preloaded on the pinnon.
