Air Temp Sensor

Postby Transitman02 » Fri Feb 17, 2017 9:11 pm

Hi all

Need some help with this problem|
I have a LWB 350 Transit MK7 2007 with a 2.4 TDCI engine Ref JXFA,
Now the problem is that the Traction control light is comes on after about 5/10 sec after starting the engine
and sends it into limp mode, so after plugging in the code reader it comes up with P0095 "Intake Air Temp. Sensor 2 Circuit".
Now Ive replaced the MAP sensor, MAF Sensor even put a new throttle pedal on but to no avail !! Now i have tried to fine this sensor
but once again to no avail and its starting to drive me nuts, so i throw this problem to anyone on this forum who has had any similar instances that
could point me in the right direction to resolve this problem

Many Thanks

Broken wire  Strip the loom down around the vacuum pump where it branches out to the plug. :) It most likely there.
On the sixth day God created a Sprinter on the seventh he gave it away and bought a TRANSIT

As said,broken wire.
Tho I've also seen these break really close to the actual connector on to T-map sensor.

Hi !
Well Ive stripped the loom back as far as i can and cannot detect any broken wires and still getting code P0095 coming up on the code reader.
Does anybody know the pin numbers they go to on the PCM and would any of you know if this model has a separate Air Temp Sensor other than the MAF sensor
only i have been told that some have a sensor on the Intercooler but unable to find a sensor there either
Loosing the will to live trying to solve this fault hope someone can help
Many Thanks

The air charge temp sensor is part of the t-map sensor.
That is located in the short piece of steel pipe leading into inlet manifold,as I've said the wire can break off within an inch or so of the connector to map sensor.

Absolutely right!! it had broken in the connector itself and was only being held in
by the rubber, rejoined it all up again back in the connector and it works a treat
all back to normal ! :D
Hey Frag! can't thank you enough for your knowledge and pointing me in the right direction
Many Thanks!!
