Won't start after brakes replaced

We replaced brake pads and rotors on the rear wheels of a 2015 transit this weekend and now the engine won't turn over. It tries to start for about 5 seconds but doesn't fire up. In replacing the rotors, the axles had to be removed. Is there some sort of internal lockout for some reason? Any suggestions would be great
