Glow plug light flashing

Hi,

I have a 2003 ford transit with a mk6 engine, it starts and drives fine but after 5 mminutes of driving the glow plug warning light comes on and starts to flash. the van doesnt lose power and there is nothing different with how it drives. If i then stop and turn the ignition off and then on again the light stops flashing but then comes on again after 5 imnutes or so of driving. Im not sure if this could be down to a faulty or corroded wire or if its something major has anyone had this problem on their transit and if so what would the solution be ? thanks

Needs the fault codes read first, otherwise it could be very expensive guess work
