Hole in engine - T350 145 petrol

I had a similar problem before but the rattle was from when the slave cylinder had been changed have of it had been left in so was rattling around the flywheel that might have been your problem until it found its way out but now I'd say it's a new gearbox

It's actually the engine not the gearbox...looks like part of the "Balance Shaft" drive gear system hanging out...I think..!?? It has to travel from the front of the engine to get there though...
