after a far to long period without a Transit, i came across a 1998 TD.
As i am a very mechanically minded Person, the Epic will have to go.... I dont like Drive by wire.
As this seems a well covered Subject in this Forum, however i did not fully understand the subject of the Injectors itself..
After swapping to the 145 oder 146 Pump, do i stick with the 85ps injectors or should i go for the 1oops injectors?
Is the pulley the same, and is it the same timingbelt? i assume so, but just like to make sure.. Not having done this before, i thought there will be no harm in asking before i start taking things apart
Also, italian company STAR Diesel seems to offer complete Kits to do the swapping...anybody has any experience with these kits??
I am looking for all the needed Parts, Pump, Cable, Pedal, so i will see how much theyre asking but i assume it will blow my budget..
So if anybody has any of these items around, please send me a message. I am located in the SW of Ireland...
