Transit 2.0 y reg best engine upgrades.

Hi I have a y reg transit as you can see.
I've had the egr blanked and had it re mapped but I'm looking for something better.....
Now I will be buying an I intercooler and some pipes in the next couple of weeks and have that fitted but there must be something better......
3inch exhaust will be coming in the next few months....
What's the cheapest ish best way to make it better

Strip and clean inlet manifold.
Blank egr valve
Get intercooler and hoses from a 100 ps
Give it a full service
Get a decent remap

That's as good as it gets unless you want to start spending silly money

Cheers mate, egr is blanked and its been re mapped but not sure on the quality.
Has been serviced.
Is there alot of work involved in cleaning the inlet manifold as to be honest im not mechanically minded so might be better getting a mechanic to do that.
Wheres best place to get the pipes scrapyard?

Cleaning inlet is just nuts and bolts, and a lot of oily muck, not difficult just time consuming and dirty

Scrappies is the best bet for intercooler and pipes

Not sure on the mapping apparently used a map that's been used quite a few times before and been fine.
I'm tempted to just give up with everything including the intercooler and just drive it.
I've put 100ml of 2stroke into half a tank and she sounds beautiful

I believe they're ~$60-70k USD each....not really very fuel efficient though....In the US these Top-Fuel engines have ~10,000hp @ 8200rpm, they do 1000ft in ~3.7 seconds @ 330mph and have to be torn down to a bare block & rebuilt after each run.........they also consume ~7-8 liters of nitro-methane @ 600+psi...per second..!
