Can I delete old key?

Hi

Can anyone help?

I had my Connect broken into last month at home, I presume they used a Tibbe lock pick.

I've bought a new Hykee lock for the driver's door and Armorplate lock covers for passenger and rear doors, but I don't know if they used the ODB port to programme another key so they could come back later and presumably open the doors despite there being a new Hykee lock, if you get my drift.

If they did is there a way of resetting the system so only my master remote key works as I can't afford to lose any more tools?

Get a dummy port and wire every other wire to 12v to fry their pc if they try again!!

Robbie i think he's worried that they've already used the obd to program a new remote, in which case until he delete all known keys then he can't be confident that they won't come along and remote unlock the doors and drive off.

Yes you are correct, that is exactly what I am worried about.
In your first reply you said Ids can wipe all previous keys (them I would definately relocate ODB port).

Who are Ids or have I misunderstood?

It's not a "who"... it's a what..!

It's Fords Diagnostic hardware/software. Many of us have "clones" of it. Where are you..?? There may be a member close by who has one and may be able to help sort you out.
