Van locked but won't open! Another central locking chore

My 2002 Mk6 280SWB transit was on a customers drive and wouldn't open on the fob and the drivers door lock is jammed so I couldn't open it with that.Nightmare!

So I ended up shorting the wiring loom to get it open but the fob has no effect on the central locking now, I've changed the battery and checked the PCB for shorts or corrosion but it looks ok.

Do you have any idea what I need to do to fix this?

Check the two C/L fuses, taped to the loom, under the lower part of the steering column

Will do its just in having a new clutch and flywheel but I'll let you know if that works thank you

The central locking does work but only when you lock it with the passenger side lock with the key or short it out via the wiring loom to open it,so if the fuses had gone wouldn't it not work at all?
