2001 engine bay wirng loom plug

Postby lynx117 » Mon May 29, 2017 2:24 am

Just joined the site as i'm always looking at info on here, I am trying to find out what each connection on the engine bay wiring connector plug does???
I'm in the middle of doing an engine conversion so need to tie the two electrical systems together, I've tried looking through the internet but no joy.
Any help would be a bonus :?

Sorry.
It's a 2001 mk6 lwb hi top which is going to be converted in to a camper. It was a 2.4 duratorq diesel, 5 speed manual, It's now a petrol 3.8 v6 auto, Makes for a very tight fit

LOL...

It's not a "big" engine by any means....the 3.8 V6 is getting pretty old now, but still a good donk...the later Commodores also come with a LS3 6.2L chev V8 engine..good for ~500ponies and a gazzilion ft-lb of torque with some minor fettling..  A Tranny with one of them in would indeed be something to behold.

That would be a challenge
Fitting an ecotec is tight enough, you'd have to do some major work to the firewall to make it fit

Nah...just hang it further out the front...the 5cyl 3.2L machine has a slightly longer nose..! Might be enough.
