Way too much oil after an oil change .

Postby OuterMongolia » Mon May 29, 2017 3:16 pm

After I had an oil change there is way too much oil in the engine ,above the maximum mark .Should I be worried .I lose oil anyway and I am always topping up .Does this increase engine oil pressure dramatically? Should I be worried about damage to seals and gaskets ? I have 1999 2.5 diesel MK5 smiley .Non turbo .

Wrong, it could run on it's own oil & detonate the engine.
