Power steering pump query

OK i've asked this in Mk5 section but surprised no response so will try here.

Have slight seeping from power steering when on full lock (such as parking etc). I know it's that as the steering stiffened up on me earlier and saw spots of fluid where i'd reversed. Van is driving normally though and am in Lithuania at moment hoping to make Poland (200 mile away) tomorrow where i know parts are plentiful.

Checked fluid level and showing ok so hoping it's just seals but worst case scenario, if needing pump replacing, does anyone know if they are "handed" or not?
