Engine swop

Hi, Ihave a 54 plate tipper 2.4 115 bhp engine ,code FXFA .Can anyone tell me if it is a straightforward swop for a 90 bhp D2FA engine?

Fuel pumps and wiring will be different.

Other than that pretty straight forward.
If you use the 115 pump and injectors it'll still run like a 115

i thought only the 120/125 have the vp44?

I have the same van, it was a 120 & it got swapped out for a 90ps, without any change of wiring. The lift pump still operated ect.. I used the 120ps manifold/egr/maf & bolted it onto the 90 engine as they are different. Just need the 90ps ecu.

i thought only the 120/125 have the vp44?

Allegedly, the 115 also uses a VP44 :)
