meric dash overlay kits

hi guys

trade van accessories sell a dash overlay kit in several colours, inc walnut finish; they are 3M glue backed laser cut overlays which stick on the dash to give the desired effect of ie, walnut, carbon, aluminium etc

i have bought a walnut kit but knowing how good a bond you get from 3m automotive tapes etc, im very wary of even taking it out the box, as it would be very easy i would imagine to get it stuck in the wrong place, ? has anyone used these before and are they as awkward to apply as they look,? or are they in fact easy to work with, as the packet suggests ??!!
