ldv convoy fuel pump gone

hi there i was wondering if anyone can help me, the fuel pump in my ldv convoy has just bust.. its the lucas epic pump, engine is the 2.5 turbo diesel ford. a few people have mentioned a conversion to a manual pump (bosch) has anyone done this? and if so what will i need to do and get for the job.. is there any kind of step by step guide??

You sure its the pump?
I will have one thats good... but it will be mixed in with o es that arn't... and I haven't got a quick/easy way to check them at the moment.
