blown up 2.2 120 2018 engine.

Engine had conrod through crancase so need another one.Tried E-bay and nearly sent van off to a place "Rochdale van breakers" who after a few phone calls assured me they had in reconditioned engines/did there own machining on site and did a free collection service.Decided to drop in to take a look---Nothing more than a scrapyard -no workshop and a load of old engines which would have probably been cleaned up and stuck in my van as a "reconditioned " one!Lucky escape!! Dont know weather to go for a reconditioned one or pick up a second hand unit but dont want to get caught out .Any ideas?

If it's a "2018 engine" as you suggest....you won't have it till next year..! Then it'll be under warranty..!

Sorry about the mistake-its a 2007 /120bhp and its in a Citroen Relay LWB.I have located an engine but told its out of a 2010 Transit 115 bhp but dont think its same spec/code as my engine.Might be best to get a recon unit and pay surcharge for my "holed" engine.
