Thanks for replies/help, intend on going to look at an engine on Monday.Have been advised to make sure it has same fuel system as my van (denso). How do I tell if the engine is a 2.2 /115 or 120 bhp-as engine is out of van so no vin plate-are there any stampings on engine to indicate spec of engine? Its a minefield to someone who doesnt know about these things!

You won't find a Transit engine rated at 120.

I would reckon a 115 would be perfect for your van
