Hi all
As normal a question for you guys !
Transit tipper 2.4 2003 mk6
My large wishbone rubber bush looks a bit dodge its the one 75mm in diameter
What do you guys recommend change wishbone? Can i change the bush , do i change both sides if i change the complete wishbone ?

You can change the bushes I'd do both sides at the same time as it will need re tracking afterwards so freeoff the adjusters while the wheels are off to make it easer to adjust if only doing the bushes it may be ok but if you fit new wishbones it will be way out so don't drive to far before once I put new wishbones on my car at work one night drove 29 miles home and it ripped the sh@t out of the tyres

If you fit a wishbone tracking should not alter significantly, after all they are made to a specification and should all be identical baring manufacturing tolerances.
Certainly shouldn't scrub tyres within 30 miles - they would need to be so far out you would see it by eye.
By all means get it tracked afterwards if you wish though.
If you are just fitting a bush it may be possible to get it in out of centre?

Put new wishbones on mine last year checked before removing was on 0 degree new gen Ford wishbones fitted tracking gauge was nearly off the scale tow out I have changed to many surspention parts over my 40 years working life and I have not had many that did not need adjustments

Changed both on my Beemer last year and the car was virtually undriverable untill the tracking was put right, bloody ford. N

Surely if you are finding parts that far out then the caster/ camber which by and large isn't adjustable must be absolutely miles away from manufacturers specs?

They weren't genuine bmw parts :oops: Jeeess Av not won the lottery to be able to afford there prices :lol: N

Every part has a manufacturing tolerance +or- can make a make a difference
