6 stud 16 inch wheels

Hi I have a mk5 single wheel with 6 stud 15 inch wheels. What I want to know is will the 6 stud 16 inch wheels off a mk6 fit my mk5 ? Thanks lads

Yes but you will need to open up the stud holes for the larger diameter studs

The poster states mk5 single wheel matt.
The 16inch mk6 single wheels are 5 stud so no they won't fit.

Ok I seem to have confused the issue about my mk5 single wheel 6 studs. Mine are 15 inch I want to up grade to 16 inch 6 stud can it be done by using mk6 inner wheels from a twin wheeler

Mk6 twin wheel inner wheels are the same as all other twin wheels, they won't fit on a mk5 single wheel without changing the rear axel and front hubs to twin wheel, that's before you even think about the mounting point for the rear axel that don't match, the single wheel shell is different to the twin wheel so won't be a bolt on job also the rear inner arches will need modded to leave room for the twin wheels.

Nope not that I've ever read on here, the 6 stud doesn't share the stud pattern with anything else so no other doners to rob
Well in China they still make a clone mk5 but I don't no if the wheels pattern are unchanged or if there is a even a 16 inch rim available over there.
