Haha come to think of it there are a few water pipes in close proximity to that unit so it could be a water pump

Being honest, I’m tired and I’ve had a few bevies so I can’t be 100% sure on wether there’s water pipes going into the unit on the end of the rear cam or under/around it.

I will, common thing to happen on these engines?

The oil leak did get pretty serious tbf and even tho I cleaned up each part as I refitted it all, there’s still some oil residue in some areas that will get cleaned when I’ve established the leak has stopped.

Just wires in general get a bit brittle on these

Found the break just below the plug (between the sender and the plug), quick fix for now till I can solder it properly tomorrow.
