Problems starting the van

Hello,

My van is Ford Transit 2003, 2.4 MK6 High Top. I have had the van standing for few months and had problems getting it started. Changed my battery and fuel filter and got it going eventually. If the van stands for a day or longer it has problems starting, it takes up to 10 seconds of turning engine over until it starts up. Maybe somebody has had similar problems or have a clue what could be the cause of this?

Some more information - After the van has started it sometimes dies down and needs to be started again. Once it has started it's fine and when I turn off and on the engine it starts fast without problems.

Air leak on the fuel system possibly, filter head is a common failing point. N

The van is not starting at all anymore now.. will try these options, cheers!
