Blank off panel ?

Hi can anyone explain what this is and whats its purpose as my demister position is crap no air movement so removed this and hey up !! air flow there must be a reason for this blank panel to be where it is just don't want to bugger anything up[img][IMG]http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w415/jim18foy/IMG_20171003_105640_zpsioubl24b.jpg[/img][/img]

If you're talking about the rectangular box with the black seal, then that's where the cabin air filter goes

Hi Altransit ok I think so but haven't seen any filter of sorts anywhere. am thinking it may need changing cheers for your help

No, you don't have a filter, most vans don't as standard, but if you wanted one, then that's where it goes

nice one ! so the blank plate does nothing I mean I can leave it off as it lets more air through making it better for windscreen demisting

The blank panel has been fitted on the wrong side

Peel back the sound deadning on the under side on the bonnet and it should be fitted in that side.




I only know that because mine was like that after it came back from the bodyshop

All our 56 plate vans had the blank in the wrong place from New!
