Do you know exactly what the fault code was..?? Does your glow plug light flash while trying to start..??

Don't know what a fuel pump tensioner is..? :?

I'm guessing she's jumped a tooth or three on the timing chain..! But could be a number of things.

Hi the code was p0149 which came up fuel pump timing error. I changed the fuel pump timing solenoid which made no difference. Is. The next best place to look the timing Chain tensioner?

Thanks for your response

Yeah....she may have jumped a tooth or three...common problem. I'd be doing the whole chain kit, including guides. Go for at least a quality kit or genuine Ford. Some of them are not great.
