Cannot open any doors via keyfob

Hi there! My 07 tranny has been sat idle for a couple of months due to clutch/dmf problems, but when I went to get the Haynes manual out of the van none of the doors would open!. I used the key in the drivers door lock and got in. I tried starting her and no problems there so I sat there for a good half hour with the engine running thinking it would recharge the key but no joy!. Any suggestions?

If you have two batteries, then the front one is dead

ok dokey I'll stick the battery tester on it and ill let you know the results

Tester says "poor" so i'v got it on charge! will let you know how it goes later!

Modern batteries don't last too well with the demands of modern electrics, if it is more than 3 years old, bin it and buy a new one

Well mate, looks like you were right! it took an overnight charge to get it fully juiced up and everything ok dokey now(battery's less than 2 year old). Many thanks for your time and patience!. . . . er how's your knowledge of clutches and DMF's?
