Postby robin5 » Tue Oct 10, 2017 4:46 pm

If you give us a clue to which van you have?

Then we might be able to help?

I think he's got a Citroen Relay with a 2.2 in it..!

If it's a 2.2 Mk7 engine, then it "WILL" need injectors coded in and all the learns done..!

Sorry about that its a 2007 Citroen Relay with the 2.2 6 speed engine .It seems to go OK but awkward to start when hot sometimes otherwise OK.What does vthe reprogramming involve?

I'm assuming it's the same as a Transit Denso system....The PCM, (Powertrain Control Module), needs to know the correction factors of each injector, (which is written on the top of each injector), so it can adjust the fuel pulses of each injector correctly. Then the system needs to do a pump, injector & pilot learn procedure so it knows what each part of the system is doing compared to the other before it can run nicely. Now, with it being a Citroen, I'm not sure if IDS or Forscan can do it, the protocol might be different..?? Can't hurt to try I guess.

Hope he's got the right kit to do it...can be a right ball-ache without it. I'm sure you'll be fine.
