Quality sensor

Hi can't turn off service spanner ,had service on my 140 they could not turn off this model has oil quality sensor.
Is there a fault with sensor or another way of turning it off
Also where is sensor located

Sensor lives in the block and goes down into sump, right hand side just behind the engine mount between the exhaust cat and block... and is also the oil level sensor, if you lay under the van you can see it, it's a bit difficult to see from above, the exhaust/turbo is in the way. :mrgreen:

Internal part of sensor could be covered in crud which may cause grief.. :(

Obviously you've tried the "throttle and brake pedals down-ignition on for ~30seconds thing"..!?? :?:

Yes...it's just forward of the exhaust/cat mounting bracket, just above the sump, but I'm not sure exactly how high the oil is when full. :?

The mount hole is above the sump pan line so guess it's above the oil level.

One way to find out I guess.
