2010 front heated window

Postby missmouse3 » Thu Nov 09, 2017 7:10 pm

Just got my transit & was told it has a heated front windscreen fitted but no switch as it wasnt original fitment. Is this easy to connect up to a switch or will the loom be totally different?

You may possibly have the wiring in, are there wires behind both A-post trims for the screen , if yes then a switch, timer relay and fuse should do i think

Mk7 has no timer relay and is Bcm controlled.

Check the relay positions and see if the metal terminals are present. It’s not hard to fit the wiring, although it depends a lot on your skill level.
