Postby Mike Saunders » Fri Nov 10, 2017 12:12 am

Hi all

Have a Ford Transit 350L Td Xhigh 2001 Mk6

Will it go with only 3 working glow plugs

Van will start then stop (just die) and glow plug light flashes on off

Have just put new timing chain in motor and injectors and diesel pump in motor to go from 90 to 120ps

hoping someone can help thanks lots Mike

Is the ECU from a 120?

You will need the codes read - using IDS preferably.

Reading the original post it sounds like its not had an engine swap just the pump and injectors  No mention of the pcm being swapped as well.

Answer to original question is yes. N

Does sound like crank sensor, 'specially if it runs for about 4-5secs then just shuts off.

You have deffo got the correct connector ..... erm ...... connected? - the speedo one looks the same. And the lead hasn't got damaged when fitting up the new motor?
