No. The mk7 front wheel bearings aren't taper. I think they are called linear bearings.

No. The mk7 front wheel bearings aren't taper. I think they are called linear bearings.


They are dual tapered roller bearings, fitted back-to-back in the hub...had mine fall apart whilst I was changing them not long back. They come fitted as part of the hub but are definitely tapered rollers.

Best way to get them of is 12 o'clock ,6, 3 ,9 with the hammer to equally get them off
