2.5 engine info please

Hi. I am looking to buy a Ford based motorhome but I dont want a late one full of gadgets and gizmos that break.
I am looking for one with a pre common rail diesel engine with a Bosch injection pump that will happily run on my home made bio diesel.
Hoping to find something built between 1998 and 2002
I have been told that the 2.5 transit engine is the one to go for. But I know nothing about them and there is some real confusing stuff about them on the internet.
I have enquired about a couple of them I saw for sale but they had the Lucas pump.

What I want to know is.......
What years did they make the 2.5 diesel with the Bosch pump?
Does it have a turbo?
What is it called? i.e. name or code number.
What mk Transit was it fitted in?

From 1986 to 2000

Oryginally engines with Bosch pumps havn't turbo, but you can find a lot of hybrids - manufactured with Lucas-Epic system, later changed for fully mechanical Bosch. Usually in those vans turbo is left and still works.
Supposedly Ford issued short production run Mk3 with Bosch/turbo 100HP - but I don't know is it true...

Engines 70 - 80 HP it is Bosch naturally aspirated
Engines 85, 100 and 115HP it is Lucas Epic - turbo

4. What mk Transit was it fitted in?
Mk3 1986 - 1991
Mk4 1991 - 1994
Mk5 1994 - 2000
