intercooler removal

Anyone know how to remove the intercooler on a mk6 2.0 diesel transit.
cant find the bolts that hold the cross member in place.

4 bolts secures radiator support in place- 2 at each end. Intercooler is bolted to the bottom of that support.

The four bolts that hold IC are between IC and engine cooler. They hold IC to "support radiator" (nr 4 on first picture).
Support radiator is hold tu body by two screws nr 14 on this picture.
So: first protect engine cooler against dropping when support radiator will be loose. On picture are two red arrows - in engine cooler bolts are small transverse holes, put into this holes stick (for example nail or small screwdriver). Now radiator will be safety hang during support radiator disassembly.
Now you can unscrew support radiator and safety lower it, and than unecrew IC.

I really don't understand, why :evil: screws holding IC are access from engine cooler side...

That parts pic shows 2 different boost pipes from the turbo to intercooler, what is the black resonators job in the boost pipe up near the turbo?. N

Pipe nr 2 is for 2,4l engines, pipe nr 8 with plastic part is for 2,0l engines...

What is the black resonators job - I don't know...
