I have a 1989 Transit with a 1600 Pinto engine.

Does anyone know how to tell if it's a low compression engine?

A compression test may give a clue..!! Quick and easy enough to do..:wink:

Thanks, but I'd still need to know what the compression of a an LC engine should be.

One would assume the manual would have such specs...
