1999 Transit Dash & controls not working

Postby Chemus » Thu Jan 11, 2018 9:49 am

Hello all, in desperate need of some help...
I’ve got a 1999 Ford transit, it’s manual, petrol 2.0, 63,000km on the clock.
Recently my dash has stopped working.
The speedo, revs, temp & fuel, heater controls, wipers, indicators, brake lights and main beam are not working.
The hazards, dipped beam, washer jets and dash lights are working.
Roadside recovery said there is power to the fuse board and the fuses are all okay.....?
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks :)

I'd be looking at the ignition relay,if you look at fusebox lid it's a square one with a key picture on it...

Hi mate, thanks very much for your advice... I was rummaging around in the fuse box today and noticed that the same relay you described was hot/warm to the touch. Hopefully I can locate one in the morning and get it changed!
Thanks again mate
