I shall be looking at what They alphabet put back?!!!
And have told them, as soon as I get van back it’s going straight to a AC Specialist, which it is for a second opinion!

Their excuse was, We had to take all that away to WElD!
I said you have BUTCHERED MY VAN without even asking!!!
If they're not replacing the pipes They'll probably try to join using brass plumbing fittings like a 10mm strait coupling like the one in picture which i used to sort my power steering pipe until the new one came

So I have found 2 pipes at the top sawn off and blacked over and 1 pipe at the bottom sawn off, Accumulator/dryer is totally missing.
Been back to the garage.
Had a Huge argument with the Owner, and I made him bring out the mechanic who BUTCHERED MY AIR CON.
After 30mins of B***s***......
He agreed they are at fault.

They now have the van and Amazingly have found my Pipes and the Accumulator!

I have been promised they will put it all back together????
But how?
They are telling me that they can re join the pipes???
I am not confident...
But will give them a chance.

I've just seen seen this thread.

Those 2 pipes. 1 goes to accumulator & the other 1 goes to condenser.

Obvious that welding has been dove in that area (O/S wheel house panel & inner wing). BUT there was no need to cut A/C hoses.

All they had to do was depressurise A/C system & thee remove pipes & accumulator. Complete repair, then refit A/C pipe & recharge the system.

Me. I would be double checking the welding they've done too

Who did the work :?: :?:
