Mk 7 help required

Hi all I have a 2008 2.2 tdci, went out today all was well noticed after a while when easing off the accelerator van started to judder like it was not getting fuel but ok while accelerating, gradually got worse so pulled into supermarket car park .
seemed to idle ok turned off then will not start at all ???

called AA he sprayed some startup in the engine and it stated but run really rough and smoked like a bitch!!!

He said he thought it was an injector fault
I have since read that it could be fuel inlet valve and pressure relief valve problem

So I am confused now can any garage sort this as I'm told it needs either coding for injectors or software updates doig also or do I need to go to ford dealer

Any help or advice would be most welcome as this is my first transit van

Injectors do need coding, but most diagnostics can do this if the operator is capable. Doesn’t need to be ford.

Strange that it happened all of a sudden though...possibly the PRV has blown..??

Best get the codes read to see what is going on.
