MK7 2.2 tdci Electrical problems

Hi Guys,

The Stop/Start, Cruise control, and Hill assist have all stopped working on my 62 plate, 2.2 TDCI Transit. Also the MPG seems to be a lot less than before. Other than just stated, the van runs fine. The van has a twin battery system, is it possible that a duff battery could cause these problems?

Any advice would be appropriated. Thanks.

Yes, so get batteries checked, then get fault codes read

Firstly I'd be getting the dtc's checked with your symptoms there will be codes present,but with cruise hill start and start /stop related issues the common denominator would be clutch/ brake light switches as these control all three of your missing functions,in saying that your mpg is throwing a spanner in the works for this diagnosis get it plugged in and post up the resulting codes and someone will point you in the rite direction
