Hi there I'm a newby on here !just bought new mk 7 transit 2010 plate ,iv added a couple usb /12v supply in back off van and conected it straight to my battery at the back off seat via a inline fuse and switch , got everythinking working ok.came to lock van with remote and did not work and was fine till i made coections to battery .This batterty is not even 2 year old but the front battery has a date on it from manafacture from 2010 so checked what voltage it was giving out and was over 12v not started and increased when van running ! checked fuse behind glove box and was ok ,Is there any more anywhere or could i off damaged something else when connecting my new usbs !! its doing head in hope some one can help !! PLEASE THANKS

You need to get the front battery drop tested but if it is 8 years old then 99% likely it is fooked, get a new 1 the same spec as the back 1 that you have that's assuming it is the correct spec for the van

Well with it bieng 8 year old I will just change it anyway and hope the sorts it out ! Cheers

Changed the battery and worked first time .ffs
