I had assumed so, but now I know definitely

I have two Foci with the same engine

Yes PSA engine (Ford DLD)

1.5 is derived from the 1.6 & both are know as DV6 engines

Evening all!
As promised the update on the non starter is the timing belt had indeed jumped.
Diagnosed by dealer as being due to a faulty water pump...... which would be the water pump replaced by the ford dealer sometime last year...... the discussion as to who is liable is currently ongoing, but it's looking like a repair under warranty.....

If anything else comes up I'll keep you posted......
