Electrical issue

Hi,

I’ve got a 2009 mk7. I’ve been having a few electrical issues recently such as rear fog light coming on whilst braking and indicating, indicators flashing quickly, audio playing up a bit and offside side light occasionally turning off (the bulb is fine). However over the last few days the van has been intermittently cutting out either immediately after starting or when I come to a stop when driving. It’s also sounding quite rough when idling.

I initially thought it might be a bad grounding somewhere but would this cause the stalling problems?

Any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated.

Have the battery(s) load tested first . If ok then check connections for loose or corroded ends . Not sure if this would cause engine shut down but it would be first checks I would do .
