Take it back to the place that did the security update and they should check it, either install the original asbuilt to see if that foxes it or if it is just a matter of turning the feature you are missing back on in configuration with ids then fairly straightforward.

If software caused the fault then software will fix it

Now it seems could be a faulty body control module

Ford have now had the van for 2 days they put a replacement body control module in all the lights worked fine they then went to programs it to vehicle and lights stopped working main ford head office is saying that some thing I’ve added to the van is conflicting with the soft ware
Has any one else had any issues with this it’s a custom sport 155ps 2013

Only thing I can think of is either ply lining fitted or faulty tow wiring.

Just picked my van up still no joy with the parking lights for hq have now acknowledged that they have had a few reports of the up dates sodding the lights up apparently when the lock up date is activated through the soft ware it turns a section of the body control module off which also controls the parking lights when the ignition is off
After saying it wasn’t any thing to do with the up date then trying to say it was something that I had added to the van was making the update crash
So they e wasted 3days of my work time 2 days of the garages mechanic time
So if any one else has had this update done check your parking lights when you’ve locked the van ford won’t address the problem until they get so many complaints through there global fault line also they’ve told me that parking lights not working is not part of the mot now which I find hard to believe
